  Eating a few more lobster rolls from small local vendors is on my bucket list for life, so we stopped in after we saw this little place tucked just outside of Hilton Head on the highway to Beaufort. I am my husband each had a large lobster roll, $21 each..in a hot buttered grilled roll. Excellent! The lobster was of excellent quality, which was not drowned in mayo. I felt like we got most of a lobster in a roll.
  
  We were there as they opened at 11 on a Saturday, and the service was personal, well informed, friendly...and I think the actual owners (Tony) and his family. They were great.
  
  We also got food to go for the rest of our party...a Philly Cheese Steak ($14), a pulled wild boar sandwich ($12), and a pulled smoked bison sandwich ($12).
  
  All three were great deals and all were awesome. Wild boar and bison were specials, but Joe's does regularly offer game based meals.
  
  While we were there a regular came in for a burger. It looked great. He told us he is a programmer in the area and he treats himself every week with a burger at Joe's.
  
  We tried Cape Cod potato chips, Cole slaw, and lemon parmesan fries. All were good, but cole slaw was stellar.
  
  We will be back in the area in January, and Joe Loves Lobster Roll will be a regular part of our Hilton Head visits.
  
  Sign, pictured, is sort of eclipsed if you are coming south from Beaufort.

  Expensive but worth it. Philly cheese steak is great. Wild game options are always intriguing and fun. And of course my wife always loves their lobster rolls.
